These products provide customers with a unique end-to-end solution - enabling reliable, accelerated and secure application delivery to any user, using any device, anywhere in the world. These positions generally require the following skills:
This role will drive Cisco’s efforts in this newly emerging WAN Optimization and branch server consolidation market. Participate (in a senior/ lead role) on a project team of engineers involved in development of software for Cisco’s Wide-Area Application Acceleration Products.
Requires use of a strong background in any of the following areas:
-Embedded SW design and implementation (C and C++)
-Knowledge of application protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS), Layer 4-7
-Hands-on experience with security protocol stack (e.g., SSL, VPN, FW)
-Kernel and Platform bring up (Device Drivers, Linux Kernel, TCP/IP stack)
-Product testing (combination of manual and automation test experience) and experience in programming under Perl/TCL/C Typically requires
-MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience.
